What Is RF Microneedling?

RF Microneedling with the Cutera Secret PRO® is an advanced treatment that combines precision microneedling with targeted radiofrequency (RF) energy to tighten skin, smooth scars, and refine overall texture— with minimal downtime.

This dual-action technology creates controlled microchannels on the skin’s surface while simultaneously delivering therapeutic heat deep into the dermis. This process stimulates robust collagen and elastin production at a deeper structural level than traditional microneedling alone, resulting in firmer skin, improved tone, softened scars, and long-lasting rejuvenation.

To further enhance healing and regenerative results, Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) may be added to the treatment and infused into the skin or injected into targeted areas to accelerate recovery and amplify collagen stimulation.

For optimal comfort, Pro-Nox (laughing gas) is available during the procedure at no additional cost.

What To Expect

Everything You Need To Know About RF Microneedling

Before Your Treatment

Avoid sun exposure and tanning for at least 1–2 weeks
Discontinue retinoids, acids, and exfoliating products 3–5 days prior
Inform us of recent skin treatments, medications, or health changes
Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin

After Your Treatment

Mild redness, swelling, or pinpoint marks for 1–3 days
A BioCellulose Mask is applied post-treatment to cool, hydrate, and soothe the skin
Avoid makeup for 24 hours (or until redness subsides)
Use gentle, hydrating skincare and daily SPF
Avoid intense workouts, hot yoga, and saunas for 24–48 hours
PRP option may shorten recovery time and enhance results

Doesn’t Treat

Severe skin laxity (best addressed with surgical lifting)
Deep pigmentation issues (better treated with Excel V+ or CO₂ laser)
Active acne breakouts
