What Is SkinPen Microneedling?

Microneedling with the SkinPen® is a medical-grade collagen induction therapy that uses precisely controlled micro-needles to stimulate the skin’s natural healing response— resulting in smoother texture, improved tone, refined pores, and increased radiance.

During treatment, ultra-fine, sterile needles create controlled microchannels in the skin. These microscopic channels trigger the body to increase collagen and elastin production while replacing damaged tissue with fresh, healthy cells. Over time, the skin becomes firmer, stronger, and more evenly textured.

We offer two customized treatment options:

  • Standard Microneedling is performed with a soothing gliding serum to resurface and refresh the skin, improving tone, texture, and overall clarity.
  • Microneedling with PRP combines SkinPen treatment with Platelet-Rich Plasma derived from your own blood. The PRP is infused into the microchannels and selectively injected to accelerate healing, amplify collagen stimulation, and enhance overall skin regeneration.

Before Your Treatment

  • Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin
  • Avoid retinoids, acids, and exfoliants for 3–5 days
  • Avoid sun exposure and tanning for 1–2 weeks
  • Inform us of recent procedures, medications, or health changes

After Your Treatment
  • Mild redness or tightness for 1–3 days
  • We apply a BioCellulose Mask immediately after treatment to calm, hydrate, and soothe the skin
  • Avoid makeup for 24 hours (or until redness subsides)
  • Use gentle, hydrating skincare and SPF daily
  • Avoid intense workouts, hot yoga, and saunas for 24–48 hours
  • PRP option may shorten recovery time and enhance results

What Else To Know

Doesn’t Treat

  • Deep wrinkles or advanced skin laxity (better suited for RF Microneedling or CO2 laser)
  • Active acne breakouts
  • Severe pigmentation (best addressed with lasers or peels)
