About Dr. Kate Kleydman
Dr. Kleydman previously served as a Clinical Assistant Instructor of Dermatology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she trained residents and fellows in modern cosmetic and surgical approaches. She earned her medical degree from NYCOM, completed her internship at North Shore LIJ/Plainview Hospital, and served as Chief Resident during her dermatology residency at Saint Barnabas Hospital. She went on to complete a competitive Fellowship in Procedural Dermatology and Mohs Micrographic Surgery at The Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City.
Dr. Kleydman founded Kleydman Dermatology in 2014 with a vision to redefine what patient care should feel like. Every patient receives her time, dedicated attention, and direct expertise - there are no rushed visits and no generic treatment plans. Her practice is intentionally designed to be personal, elevated, and results-driven, offering a level of care where patients feel truly known and confidently cared for.

Located in the heart of Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn— Easy to reach by public transit via the Q or B train. Street parking is available, with a parking garage nearby. This is Dr. Kleydman’s private office; she’s the only doctor here, so your care stays consistent from visit to visit.

Insurance
Kleydman Dermatology is a private practice. We do not accept or participate with insurance.
The fee for consultation is $208.00. Any additional procedures, treatments, or services will be discussed with you in advanced and billed separately from the consultation fee.
*Payment is due at the time of service. We accept all major Credit and Debit Cards.
Before Your Appointment
Once you schedule, you'll receive a confirmation email with:
- A secure link to your digital intake forms
- Any specific instructions related to your visit type
To help us take the best possible care of you, please have:
- A valid photo ID
- Your medical history (including diagnoses and prior skin treatments)
- A current medication list (including topicals and supplements)
Completing these forms ahead of time allows Dr.Kleydman to review your history and concerns before you arrive.
After Your Appointment
At the end of your visit, we will:
- Review your diagnosis and treatment options.
- Discuss what to expect, including realistic timelines for improvement.
For select conditions, follow-up visits may be needed.
