Can RF Microneedling be done the same day?

Dr. Kleydman will first evaluate your skin type, treatment area, recent sun exposure, sensitivity, medical history, and goals before deciding whether RF Microneedling is appropriate.
One week before treatment
Avoid tanning, self-tanner, and unnecessary sun exposure. You may also be asked to pause retinoids, exfoliating acids, scrubs, or other active skincare products for several days.
Please let our team know if you have active breakouts, a history of cold sores, recent cosmetic treatments, new medications, blood thinners, implanted devices, or a history of abnormal scarring.
Treatment & Recovery
During Treatment
Your skin will be cleansed and a topical numbing cream will be applied for comfort.
The RF Microneedling device is passed across the skin in controlled sections. You may feel pressure, warmth, or a stamping sensation depending on the area being treated.
Most appointments take approximately 75 minutes, including numbing time.
After Treatment
Redness, warmth, swelling, pinpoint marks, mild sensitivity, dryness, or light flaking are normal for the first few days as the skin heals.
Dr. Kleydman will walk you through your aftercare instructions before you leave, including when to restart skincare, when to wear makeup, and what to avoid while your skin recovers. In general, you’ll want to keep the skin hydrated, avoid heat and intense workouts, and use daily SPF.

This area may be treated when patients notice crepey texture, fine lines, sun-related texture changes, or thinning skin on the décolleté.

Scars and Stretch Marks
RF Microneedling may help soften the look of acne scars, surgical scars, and stretch marks over a series of treatments. Deeper scars may require a combination approach.
