What To Expect

Everything You Need To Know About Chemical Peels

Before Your Treatment

Avoid retinoids, acids, and exfoliants for 3–5 days
Avoid sun exposure and tanning for 1–2 weeks
Inform your provider of recent treatments or health changes

After Your Treatment

Mild flaking or peeling may occur — avoid picking
Use gentle, hydrating products and SPF daily
Avoid intense heat or sweating for 24–48 hours
