HydraFacial® is a non-invasive, medical-grade hydradermabrasion treatment that combines cleansing, exfoliation, painless extractions, and intense hydration in a single session.

Using patented Vortex-Fusion® technology, the device gently vacuums away debris, oil, and impurities while simultaneously delivering a customized blend of antioxidants, peptides, and hydrating serums. The result is skin that looks:

  • Pause strong actives (retinoids, glycolic/salicylic acids, scrubs, acne prescriptions on the area) for 3–5 days before treatment, or as directed.
  • Avoid tanning beds, significant sun exposure, and self-tanner on the treatment area for at least 1 week prior.
  • Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin if possible.
  • Let us know about any recent procedures (lasers, peels, microneedling), new medications, or medical changes—especially if you’re on isotretinoin, antibiotics, or blood thinners.

During Your Treatment
  • Your provider will review your concerns and select the appropriate tips, peels, and serums for your skin.
  • The HydraFacial handpiece glides across your skin, using a gentle vacuum-like suction to clean out pores while infusing treatment serums.
  • You’ll feel a cool, wet, “deep-clean” sensation—most patients find it relaxing.

Depending on your tier (Signature / Deluxe / Platinum), your treatment may include:

  • Customized boosters for pigment, aging, sensitivity, or acne
  • Lymphatic therapy for de-puffing and contour
  • LED light therapy to support collagen or calm breakouts

Most HydraFacial appointments take 30–60 minutes, depending on the level chosen.

  • Mild pinkness can appear right after and usually fades within 1–2 hours.
  • Makeup can be applied the same day (many patients prefer to skip it).
  • Avoid hot yoga, saunas, steam rooms, and intense workouts for 24 hours.
  • Skip other exfoliating products, retinoids, or at-home peels for several days, unless we’ve specifically built them into your routine.
  • Apply gentle moisturizer and broad-spectrum SPF 40+ daily to maintain your glow and protect your results.
  • Follow any custom home-care regimen recommended by the Kleydman Dermatology team; this extends and amplifies your in-office results.
